The biological manufacturing area is made up of the following independent plants:

The Mycobacteria plant manufactures bovine and avian tuberculins –employed for the diagnosis of tuberculosis via the intradermal test– as well as inactivated vaccines for Johne's disease. Millions of doses are supplied to the veterinary services of numerous countries.

The vaccines against brucellosis are produced in the fermentation plant. It has 3 lyophilization (freeze drying) rooms where vaccines with the strains RB-51, B-19 and REV-1 are produced.

The anaerobe manufacturing area combines 10 different types of clostridial bacteria, annually producing more than 150 million doses of multivalent clostridial vaccines.

The aerobe bacteria plant works with 12 different bacteria strains for the production of monovalent and multivalent vaccines, having a capacity to manufacture up to 250,000 litres of aerobic vaccines.

At our cell culture facilities we produce viral antigens for rabies, Aujeszky's disease, as well as antigens for the manufacturing of the different types of bluetongue vaccines: serotypes 1, 4 and 8.
