In 1964 the holding company Zeltia (Spain) and Cooper MacDougal & Robertson (England) –the latter incorporated into the Wellcome Foundation– established the joint venture Cooper-Zeltia for the manufacturing of chemical and veterinary products.
As a result of the split of Cooper-Zeltia, a new company, Cooper-Zeltia Veterinaria was set up in 1991, whose activity was entirely the manufacturing of veterinary products. CZ Veterinaria, S.A. (CZV) was founded on the 1st of December 1993 bringing together the facilities, the technical-scientific structure and the qualified staff of the former company.
Within the development strategy CZV has since completed a large investment program in expanding and improving the existing facilities, as well as building new, state-of-the-art plants for biological production and a new quality control laboratory.
These capital improvement undertakings, conformant to European Directive 91/412/EEC, ensure ample manufacturing capacity to meet the current and future production requirements. |
